Lady Gaga Buys Egg Bed

What would it be like going to Lady Gaga’s house? If one could only imagine her meat suit or bubble dress side by side lining the closet.

Gaga gave a pretty wild performance at the Grammy Awards in February, where she emerged from a giant egg at the onset of her performance. It turns out, Gaga liked the egg so much that she is having an egg bed put in her New York condo.

Gaga is cool, but she is weird, as evident in her “Born this Way” music video. Her home is already complete with alien sculptures. She also has a collection of bones and masks that she has picked up on her travels.

Well hey, if you’re a celebrity, we guess you can afford to be weird. It has not yet been announced just how much Gaga’s custom egg bed actually costs.

It seems Gaga has gone farther than Madonna has ever been able to, as her style allows the weirdness to work. Gaga wants to create a tolerant race and, by challenging acceptable norms (even the most basic one in the form of a bed), she just might be successful in doing so.
