John Mellencamp who is famous for collecting hits is also becoming a professional divorcee!
The successful musician and his wife Elaine, a former model, have announced that they were ending their twenty years of marriage (the duo have two sons together).
This is the third divorce for Mellencamp who is a father of five.
The couple’s spokesperson released a statement that read:
“John and Elaine Mellencamp are proud of their 20 years together and are very happy with their accomplishments both as parents and as a family.”
No other details were given. John Mellencamp who is a well known supporter of President Barack Obama will be going on a U S tour as early as next February.
